Day 2 of being a ninja shaving with a straight razor - I fared much better today, though it was obvious that the blade was nowhere near as sharp as yesterday. So, ouch. I’m off the the store to get some aftershave and styptic pencil.
Birthday bagels! - apple and cinnamon (I made these). They were absolutely delicious, though nowhere near as good as the cake.
For my 30th birthday, my wife bought me a straight razor. This is amazing, since I’ve always wanted one and now have a chance to be a ninja grown up. It is, of course, a learning process, so to illustrate how well (or not) I am doing, I will be posting regular casualty updates. Here’s day 1!
School is great!
First day of class! For my Light and Health class, I’ll be working with a retirement/nursing home to develop lighting concepts that could improve function with Alzheimer’s patients. This is going to be amazing!
